Steam > Steam Traps
An essential part of any steam system is the steam trap.
Steam traps have the basic task of retaining steam in piping or equipment, automatically permitting condensate to leave. However, a fully automatic steam trap must also ensure free air venting (and other incondensable gases).
These are the main features of steam traps offered by DB Valve & Industrial.
There is no universal steam trap and this is the reason why DB Steam Specialities offers five different types classified in three main groups.
MAIN FEATURES
Mechanical steam traps FLT and IB series: prompt removal of condensate, air and non condensable gases.
Thermodynamic Steam traps DT series: simple and robust with intermitent operation.
Thermostatic steam traps TH and BM series: allows cooling of condensate before discharge.
